Privacy Policy

Summary

MobileCLI (the developer of the MobileCLI Terminal app and related tools) does not collect, store, or share personal information from users of its Android applications or its website mobilecli.com. Nothing in this policy contradicts that in-app behavior; the sections below explain the exceptions and edge cases in plain terms.

Information we do not collect

The MobileCLI Terminal Android application does not include analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or telemetry frameworks. It does not require you to create an account, and it does not transmit your identity, location, contacts, messages, files, photos, or usage patterns to us or to any third party.

Information you provide directly

If you contact us at support@mobilecli.com, we receive your email address and message content only for the purpose of responding to you. We do not add you to any marketing list, sell your address, or store your correspondence beyond what is reasonably needed to answer your question.

Permissions requested by the app

The Android app requests a number of device permissions (camera, microphone, storage, sensors, and others) so that command-line tools running inside the app can access those capabilities on your device when you invoke them. All processing happens locally on your device. None of the data captured by these permissions is sent to us, and we have no server infrastructure that receives it.

Third-party services you may invoke

MobileCLI Terminal is a general-purpose command-line environment. If you choose to run tools inside it that connect to third-party services (for example a Claude Code CLI that talks to Anthropic, a GitHub CLI that talks to GitHub, or a browser that loads external websites), those third parties will receive whatever information you send them and their own privacy policies apply. MobileCLI does not intermediate, inspect, or store those communications.

Website

The mobilecli.com website is a static marketing site hosted on Vercel. Vercel receives standard HTTP request logs (IP address, user-agent, requested path, timestamp) as part of serving the site; this is infrastructure-level logging that Vercel uses for delivery and abuse prevention. We do not run our own analytics, tracking pixels, or cookies on the site.

Data retention and deletion

Because we do not collect personal data from app users, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Any support email you send us can be deleted on request; email support@mobilecli.com and we will remove the correspondence within 30 days.

Children

MobileCLI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it.

Your rights

You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, and to request deletion. Because our default posture is that we hold none, most of these requests will simply confirm we have nothing to show, correct, or delete. If you have contacted us and want your correspondence removed, email support@mobilecli.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app or website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
